Plays what others stall on

Streams that stutter or refuse to open elsewhere just play, and if one drops it reconnects on its own. Picture in Picture and AirPlay, subtitles and audio tracks, playback speed and picture shape are all a tap away.

Questions

WHAT PEOPLE ASK BEFORE THEY INSTALL

What is an M3U playlist?

An M3U or M3U8 file is a plain-text list of stream addresses, usually supplied by an IPTV provider. Zapline reads that list and turns it into a browsable library — it does not include or provide any playlists itself.

Does Zapline come with channels?

No. Zapline ships with no channels and no content whatsoever. It only plays playlists you already have and add yourself, and you are responsible for having the right to watch them.

Does it work with Xtream Codes?

Yes. Sign in with your server address, username and password and Zapline loads the live channels, movies and series, plus the account's XMLTV guide. Credentials are stored in the device Keychain, never in plain text.

Can I use it on Apple TV?

Yes. Zapline is a native app for Apple TV (tvOS 17+) with a focus-driven interface, channel controls on the Siri Remote transport bar, and your favourites on the home-screen Top Shelf. It also runs on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

What is catch-up or archive playback?

If your provider records past programmes, Zapline lets you replay them straight from the guide. It understands the standard catch-up tags, Xtream archives and Flussonic servers.

Is my data private?

Yes. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no servers of ours. Your playlists, favourites and watch history stay on your device, and the app only connects to servers you configure.

Why we built another IPTV player →

Zapline includes no channels and no content. It is a player for playlists you provide, the way a media player is for your own files. You are responsible for having the right to watch the streams you load. Zapline does not promote, index or suggest any content source.
